A ‘one hour’ Tropo

Five fifteen a.m. (03:15 UTC). Woke up 15′ minutes before and wide awake. Just a Scop’s Owl call in the distance and dawn approaching. I checked the DX Info website with real-time tropospheric maps showing starting tropo conditions towards Great Britain, Bretagne and Nouvelle Aquitaine in France. I switched on the light, prepared a mug of tea and then pointed the yagi to 360º N. Time to check the FM Band. I would spent just one hour as I had to prepare a report for the University later on.
